Fishing Conditions - Dan Hannegan Memorial / UC 15 Day Wrap Up

Hi Gang,

We arrived home this morning at 0500 with a beautiful catch of fish. Our jackpot winners are as follows: third place went to Rich Rose with a 201.6 pound yellowfin, second place went to Ben Barnes with a 216.1 pound yellowfin, and first place goes to Dee Jay Owens with a 253.6 pound yellowfin. Stong work men! Honorable mention goes to Bret Rapozo with a 197.1 pound yellowfin. The big fish of the trip landed on a United Compsites rod goes to Rich Rose with a 148 pound yellowfin. The Hannegan Family donated $1500 to the angler that caught the largest fish of the trip and that went to Dee Jay Owens. Thank you so much to the Hannegan Family for that donation. We miss fishing with Dan and we had at least 6 anglers on board that fished with him over the years. Dan was a great man and he will be missed on the Intrepid. Thank you to United Composites and Gary O'Hern for hosting this trip. Thank you to everyone that fished with us and made this trip so enjoyable. We are all looking forward to this trip next year. Thanks for checking in. Life is good, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team

Fishing Conditions - trip 22-1 slow emails

Good morning everyone. We lost communication for a bit but just wanted to let everyone know we are okay and are traveling up the line from excellent fishing the last few days. The guys put in a lot of effort to catch what we caught. Majority of the fish are 100-160 pound yellowfin tuna with a few bigger and lots of mid grade tuna 40-70lbs. Wahoo fishing was on the tough side but managed to catch 50 for our trip. We've had decent weather so far and making great speed. We'll be in on Saturday morning. Come on down and check out our catch. We'll see you Saturday morning.

From Captain Brian and The Indy Crew
emails are slow too..I just got this and Brian sent it to me at 6:15am this morning...Judy
