The American Angler is one of the most beautifully designed and appointed sport fishing boats in the San Diego fleet. Captains/Owners Brian Kiyohara, and Ray Lopez are eminently respected for their friendly customer service, the way they run their operation, and their fish catching abilities. They want their customers to have an enjoyable fishing adventure. They have 40 years of fishing experience between them, fishing from Morro Bay, CA to the Revillagigedos Islands. They have a highly skilled crew that is very helpful and there when you need them. Be prepared for some absolutely fabulous food, there are 2 chefs on every trip. They make 3 full meals a day, plus a mid-morning snack, and afternoon snack. If you have any special dietary requirements let the office know, and they will gladly accommodate your needs. The upper deck has plenty of room to sit back, have a cold one and enjoy the action below, or watch a magnificent sunset. There is also a tackle prep area up stairs where you can change your line, or have the crew do it for you. If you run out of hooks or sinkers, or forgot something they have additional tackle for sale at reasonable prices. If you have any questions about fishing knots or what type of setup you will need, the crew will gladly assist you. Our goal is for you to be comfortable, relax, have fun, and catch fish.
