| These are popular five to six hour trips. Our 1/2-day local trips run twice a day, departing at 6:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. The morning trip returns at approximately 12:30 p.m. and the afternoon trips returns at approximately 6:30 p.m. Both of these trips will take you to a variety of the local hot spots along the San Diego coast, from Imperial Beach to La Jolla. Expect to catch a variety of fish including Barracuda, Bonito, Rockfish, Calico Bass and Sand Bass. Beginners Welcome - Family Fun. Rod & Reel Rental $10 ( Penn 200 w/ 25#, Hooks & sinkers included), 1 day California fishing license (mandatory for anyone 16 years or older) $12.50.
